On March 30th, over 500 students participated in the 2017 Spring Fling and celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Sampson Community College.

“The students within the Student Government Association are excited about the celebration year and wanted to celebrate with a Happy Birthday theme for this year’s spring fling” states Amanda Raynor, SGA Advisor. Raynor continues, “Students enjoyed name art, caricature drawings, laser tag and delicious food with balloon arch decor. It’s always a fun event full of energy throughout campus for students, faculty and staff.”

Also within March, the celebrations continued as faculty, staff and students were honored as a 50th Anniversary Spotlight. Congratulations Nashea Williams, Daniel Moesch, Andrew Todd, Payton O’Quinn, and Walt Smith on being an anniversary spotlight. Thank you for letting us share your story.
